Turkey Goulash

Ingredients:

  • 1 lb ground turkey
  • 1 small onion, chopped
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 cup cooked pasta (penne or macaroni)
  • 1 cup tomato sauce
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 1/4 tsp crushed red pepper flakes
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Directions:

  1. Heat a large skillet over medium heat. Add the ground turkey and cook, breaking it apart, until browned. Drain any excess fat.
  2. Add the chopped onion and minced garlic, cooking for about 5 minutes until softened and fragrant.
  3. Stir in the cooked pasta, tomato sauce, chicken broth, Italian seasoning, and red pepper flakes. Mix well.
  4. Simmer the mixture for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally, to allow the flavors to meld.
  5. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Serve warm.
  6. Enjoy!
