Ingredients:

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 small onion, diced
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 cup elbow macaroni
  • 1 cup tomato sauce
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Shredded cheese for garnish (optional)

Directions:

  1. Heat a large skillet over medium heat. Add the ground beef and cook, breaking it apart, until browned. Drain excess fat.
  2. Add the diced onion and minced garlic, cooking for about 5 minutes until softened.
  3. Stir in the elbow macaroni, tomato sauce, water, and Italian seasoning. Mix well.
  4. Bring the mixture to a boil, then reduce the heat to low. Cover and simmer for 15 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the macaroni is cooked.
  5. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Garnish with shredded cheese if desired.
