Dive into a hearty mix of seasoned ground beef, tender elbow macaroni, and tangy tomato sauce, all simmered together to perfection. A sprinkle of melted cheddar on top takes this comforting dish to a whole new level. It’s a one-pot wonder that satisfies every craving.

Ingredients:

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 small onion, chopped
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 can (14 oz) diced tomatoes
  • 1 cup tomato sauce
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 1 cup elbow macaroni
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Shredded cheddar cheese (optional)

Directions:

  1. Heat a large skillet over medium heat. Add the ground beef and cook, breaking it apart with a spoon, until browned. Drain excess fat.
  2. Add the chopped onion and minced garlic to the skillet. Cook for about 5 minutes, stirring frequently, until the onion softens and becomes translucent.
  3. Stir in the diced tomatoes, tomato sauce, and beef broth. Add the Italian seasoning and mix well.
  4. Bring the mixture to a boil, then reduce the heat to a simmer. Stir in the elbow macaroni, ensuring the pasta is submerged in the liquid.
  5. Cover the skillet and cook for about 15 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the macaroni is tender and has absorbed the flavors.
  6. Season with salt and pepper to taste. If desired, sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese on top and let it melt before serving.
  7. Enjoy!
